Special Education Programs Developed since 2013
As a passionate and forward-thinking specialist, I have successfully developed and championed three programs specifically designed for individuals with disabilities/ neurodiversity, ages PreK-12 and adult.
In doing so, I've used research-based strategies and current data to teach, while developing assessments, curriculum, programming, and leading teaching teams. One of my proudest career moments came in 2015 when I was named one of Exceptional Parent Magazine's Teacher of the Year.
I value providing exceptional educational services and believe that education should serve a higher purpose than to "pass a test." Education, even at a young age, should prepare our kids for success in life (not just school).
If you remember one thing about me, remember this - I value using the right tools for each learner's need because I value each learner individually.
